Default looking for rear end for 55

I have a 55 belair I did a ls1 swap with a 4l60E in it. I just bought 18x9.5 vet wheels and I am running 2.5" wheel spacers in the rear. I would like to do a budget rear end that is stronger than stock that has disc brakes and posi. I would like to be 60 + inches wheel to wheel I could go up to 65" inches. What have you guys found out there that will get me close. Not really looking to spend 1000 plus on building one.

The Ford Explorer 8.8 is 59.5" so it would get you close. It has 31 spline axles and 3.25" tubes. '95 and newer have disc brakes, and normally have 3.73 gears and a Trac- Loc. Bob

The only bad thing with the 8.8 is it has offset yoke like 3" and it is narrower than what I have which means more spacer than 2.5 on each side I don't want more than what I have.

I am still looking for a rear end I would like between 60-65 wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface. I would like it to have disc brakes already and 3.73 - 4.10 with posi. I also really need center pinion any other ideas what to check.
