Tire pressure for road course....

Tire pressure for road course....
I've read numerous threads about ideal tire pressures for the street (32 psi up front and 30-32 psi in the rears...with others being able to argue up to 40 psi wears properly).
I'm curious what the recommended pressures would be for a road course. Street radials up front and R-compound track tires in the rear.
What would you run on a dry track? Any change if it was raining?

I think its going to mostly depend on the tire itself. Ive read anywhere from 28 to 40+ psi.
You will probably just have to experiment with the current tires you have to see what feels best for you.
Also I think there was a thread in the road race section at one time about this.

I would go over to frrax.com (a lot of the same peeps on this site's road race forum, but MANY more of them!), tell them your EXACT suspension setup, and wheel/tire/brake setup, what kind of course, etc.
They will be able to tell you almost exactly what you should start at, and what you should go to as far as max pressures when hot.
