Default Weld rts WITHOUT narrowing rear?

What's the widest wheel I can fit in the wells of my 98 TA without narrowing the rear? Shooting for a 315.. 18" rim to be precise. I basically want to replicate the sti killers setup, but without giant 335's or whatever is has. Help would be appreciated.

Bfh and rolling fenders can be done, just avoiding narrowing the rear samich as possible.

More specifically, which offset/BS is needed. I know an 11" can fit (zr1 replicas) with some accepted trouble.

I had 305/40/18 drag radials on 18x10.5 rim, I think once you get passed 11.5" of section width on the tire you will need to remove the bump stops. I would say 11" rim with a 7" backsacing will fit good, 6.75" backspacing will tuck nicer on the 1/4 panel

Thanks man. I'm not too worried about tuck, no strong opinion as long I don't get the mullet status lol do you have any pics? I'd love to see that setup!!

For a 18 x 11, medium pad, 7.7" bs or +43 offset.

For a 18 x 10.5, medium pad, 7.7" bs or +50 offset

These were the best fitments for the available sizes, and the 18 x 10.5 with7.7" bs would give the best fitment overall.

FYI, you still can run a 315mm width rear tire(315/30/18 or 315/35/18) with a 18 x 10.5, but a 295/35/18 will give you the most tire options and lowest tire prices.

18x10.5 is what I would do.

17x11 has a better fitment... 7.8" BS.
