your return line needs to be a free flow to the pan so try and go as large as you can, I run a 3/16 feed and a 10An return

-3 feed from the block above the oil filter, and -10 return into the pan right above the oil level sensor.

There's two ports on the pan for an oil cooler is it ok to have one as the feed line as mentioned above and just block the other?

I used -4 feed from the port that the stock oil press sending unit is behind the intake on the drivers side
then a -10 return dropping in just in front of the starter on the pass side of the oil pan

Question

i have the adaptor block that is pretapped bolt on above the filter running dash 4 to my s/c and returning to the front of my oil pan with half inch.. my s/c is in the front though so i would tailor your return to optimize flow path depending on where you mount your turbo. Mine is best at front cause it just drops straight down from my s/c. there are recent pics on my 6.0 swap thread of the line setup.

I returned in lower part of timing cover. -12an size. Feed line by added a bung to port above oil filter. -4an size on that recommended by forced inductions where I bought my turbo.

How close is your -12an fitting in the timing cover from the balancer pulley ?
You have pics of it installed?

I am also running a -4 feed out of the oil cooler port with a -12 return in the pan right in front of the starter. To return on the passenger side in front of the starter you have to weld the fitting into the pan because a bulkhead fitting interferes with the oil pump pick up tube.
