Unhappy Lingenfelter 2-step install - Car Won't Start

I'm installing an LNC-001 and I have it all wired up, but my car won't start. The unit powers up when the key is on, but the car will not crank.

I have a 2002 Z06 (manual). Has anyone else had any issues like this? Any thoughts.

Thanks!

The 2 step only disables spark when activated, it can't modify anything else.
Even if the unit is malfunctioning the car should crank.

The only thing that can prevent cranking is the clutch position sensor, if you didn't hook it right the car will not crank.

Check your wiring, you have something wrong

I know the clutch position sensor is okay. I checked it.

It's either my wiring or the relay. Maybe I'll grab a new relay. I've triple checked everything.

Any other thoughts?

Id check the wiring in the clutch position switch...

Where and why are you using a relay??

The relay uses the stock clutch position sensor to trigger activation of the LNC unit, as per Lingenfelter's instructions.

I didnt use the relay in mine maybe its something different with the LNC-002 I just used the clutch neutral safety switch as a switched voltage signal back to the 2step.. Then wired the OE clutch wires in line with the LPE controller on a toggle switch (to shut the 2step off and on)..

Seemed to work fine for me and used very few wires, just some weather pack connectors and some solder.
