Cutting plugs at track....
Thought I'd share how I do it and maybe someone has a better way, but this works great for me.
I started with a piece of box tubing and drilled and tapped it 14mm x 1.25 for the plugs. Make the piece of tubing long enough so you can stand on it.
Screw the plugs in the holes, then use a 5/8" hole saw with no pilot in a cordless drill and drill until the ceramic part pulls out. quick and easy.

To make it much easier to see the fuel ring on the bottom of the tapered part of the porcelain. That tells you if the engine is rich, lean , or just right and people that mainly use nitrous do this. In this case the fuel ring is really dark so it needs fuel pulled from the nitrous tuneup.

Op. I'm asking again, how long would you say it takes to cut one using your method. Ive had to start using a gasket seat plug, and it takes a lot longer to cut with a drill and hack saw. So I'm thinking about trying your method.
