Default new fox combo

started another build so check this out. tell me which will make more power in my fox. trying to find best combo to run 7.10-7.30 on motor.if anyboy got anything close let me know.

current setup
01 lq4 stock bottom end
comp xer273hr .581/.588 224/230 114
ls2 intake
ported and shved .030 ls6 heads
92mm tb
42lb injectors

combo 2
01 lq4 block and crank
07 6.0 rods and pistons with valve reliefs
cam- .595/.598 224/232 112
l92 heads (may shave .030)
gmpp single plane intake
holley 7500r 850 dp
msd 6010

combo 3
01 lq4 short block
l92 heads
.595/.598 224/232 112 cam
gmpp single plane intake
holley 750 or 850 dp
msd 6010

Combo 2 should get you sub 7.0s if everything is right with converter and gears. My stock cam only 01 6.0 is running 7.2s with a trash converter speed and 3.73s. Heads are milled 317s.

I have vic Jr intake, and 6012 box. My cam is 622-600 231-243 at 111+3, my heads only milled .020. With 4.10 gear in a 3050-3100 lb car it has went 6.50 so far with ease. I let off on my last pass and lost 7 mph and still went 6.50, so its at the very least got some 6.45s in it. i would say with either carb combo, that should be simple unless your vehicle weighs 4000 lbs. LOL

I'm going 6.80-90's (10.80's-90's) on motor in a 200+k mile stock bottom/LQ9 with a TSP Tqr2/stock ls3 heads/super vic/Pro form 950....

Not to get off topic, but where did you find a super vic for LS3 style heads? I like your car alot. Pretty impressive

fast89stang are you running on motor or spraying to get those numbers?

BottleFedZ346 how much does your car weigh. mines is around 2960 w/o driver 3220 with driver.

Mine is on motor, never had a bottle in since LS swap. I have only ran it 4 weekends, still getting the bugs worked out. 1.415 60ft, just installed arb, hopefully it will launch a little straighter now and maybe 60 better.
