Default Ran an ls2 GTO in my V1

Hi everybody,

Ran my buddy with an ls2 GTO the other day. This is the second time I've ran him and the results have been pretty well matched every time. The first time we ran we probably made 6-8 runs with me taking him on all but two of them. This time we only got a few runs in - ran twice from a dig and once from about a 20 roll. The first dig race I beat him by a car or better. The second dig we both spun bad off the line and he beat me by a car or better. From a roll he got me by a fender up to about 100 when we let out. GTO is a 6 speed with a cat back. My V has a muffler delete and a volant intake.

Anyways here are the videos. Sorry for the grainyness the gopro doesn't like dark settings.

1st run

2nd run

3rd run from a 20-25 roll

Lol I know. Chase car was a 5.3L suburban. Not enough guts for sure. Next time we will use an LT1 T/A that will at least be able to stay in the same zip code.

only problem with being a close chase car is it gets SPRAYED with **** off the road.

Better to have the go-pro on the side of a vehicle or one passenger in each car.

Thanks for sharing, good runs. The two cars are pretty close.

Yeah we were going to take a passenger each but already had all three vehicles out so this was easier. The two cars are much more evenly matched than I thought before running him. The gtos are heavy for a 2 door muscle car. Quick googling says the cars are only about 100lbs difference... makes it a drivers race for sure.
