I have a trans am with a moderately built motor, mostly can only with a 238/240 cam and 4.11's with a 3800 stall. My tranny took a crap and the only option right now is a built racing th350 with a similar stall. What can I expect when driving the car after the swap performance and driveability wise? I've never driven a th350 as well so how is its operation? Will be installing a ratchet shifter as well at time of swap

And no gas mpgs went much of a concern it isn't my daily its my weekend go-fast car.
