hey guys. i got a 2001 z28 and it dosnt have the monsoon system. I got a kenwood head unit in it and i think the overrall sound is poor. Pretty much no bass.I just wanted to know what i should do to make it sound better. u know what speaker/ subs to replace and stuff. thanks

All 2001 Z28 models came with Monsoon as standard equipment. Therefore, chances are one or both of your sail panel subs is blown causing your lack of bass.

yeah i just checked the door sticker and seen UZ7 so i guess it does have it. but u are rite it sounds weak. so should i go with the bazookas everyone raves about or the audiopipe 6 inch subs for the sailpanel?

I have the Audiopipes and they do sound pretty good. But I do think I need to put some dynamat in the sails because I'm getting some resonance vibrations.
