Purpose of the ground on the pcv line ?!!

Default Purpose of the ground on the pcv line ?!!

Just curious as to what purpose that ground on the front of the line serves....

it's not a ground but a heat transfer strap w\o the pcv in the motor to get heated
the pressure difference could cause it to freeze

I think it is just to stabilize the line. It is pretty long and that piece adds a mounting spot in the front so it is less likely to get tugged on. That's my .02.

I definitely appreciate the input and seeing as how im in south texas I think ill be running my own now.. very rare to have to worry bout heat down here lol

I will look into that as Im also exploring running my own pcv line and running along with my steam lines coming off of the rear around the front and cleaning it all up.
