Default Gto t56 - need 3rd gear and a few other question

What is the best place to get a 3rd gear for my Gto trans? We tore it down for the lvl 2 Tick upgrade.

I've read both ways, so I want a diff unitive answer. Do the Gto/z06 have steel 3-4 shift fork stock? What material are the stock syncros? Also do you HAVE to destroy that bearing to get 3rd gear off?

I can't say for sure on a 2001 or 2002, but they probably have the iron fork stock. All later ones do.

Carbon was implemented around 2000-ish and revisions to the material were made at least once in 2006.

I've gotten a few of them off. Some days it's easier to just junk it.

I use kent Moore bearing puller specific for that bearing. No need to destroy it.
