v6 0411 to v8. what needs be done?

Default v6 0411 to v8. what needs be done?
I'm trying to figure out what all needs to be done to install a v6 0411 into a v8 using HPtuners or EFILive. I can't find schematics of both to compare if all the outs are the same. Has anyone done this reflash?

Just do a write entire with the V8 file. If using HP Tuners you will have to have the file in the PCM and the file you are writing to it both licensed.

Or you can send it to someone with tunercat for obd2 and they can do a full force write entire and load any vin / 411 compatable file costing zero licensing fees.

If they have purchase the definition files for those vehicles. One down side to doing that is it can render the pcm uneditable by HP Tuners because of creating a VIN/OS mismatch for HP Tuners.

Yeh but $80 definition files gives you unlimited read/write capability (unlimited credits in other words) for the definition file series. It would be uneditable it the user does not know how to do it correctly. ;-)
