Default Hooking a drag radial with m6, mcleod line launch?

Im looking at getting a McLeod line launch for my car. (See sig) I know bias ply tires work best for m6 cars, but can you run this and adjust the "rate" of engagement? Will this help hook up a stick car with DR's?

don't see sig... i run a MSD 2 step and you can change it to desired Rpm launch.. i have bias for the strip and launch at like 6000, but on street nitto DR's i launch at like 3800.. ive never seen a line launch/clutch deal in use.. have you looked into a 2 step instead?

Yes will be running a two step as well. I know you cant hit a DR as hard as a bias ply tire. Slipping the clutch would help, but it would be hard on it. Thought it you could adjust the rate of engagement, you could fine tune it to slip but not too much.

Looks interesting I guess....but I would just rather learn how to launch my car by myself personally. It's hard, and takes quite a bit of practice, but it felt really good when I first got my first good 60'...I just need to learn how to replicate that over and over.

Its hard enough trying to cut a good light, but it would be impossible to slip it just right everytime. If a person could make an adjustable bleed vavle on the hydraulic line, you could adjust how fast the clutch engaged.
