Default Co2 or no?

Im between the eboost2 and boost leash. I like the hyperkontrol and ams2000 but its not in the budget.

My decision is based on whether or not I need co2. I want to launch on 3 psi and ramp it up to 20ish. So I'd have to run a 3lbs spring in my tial 38mm.

If I need co2 I'll go boost leash since its more designed around it. The eboost2 is cool because i could keep the controller in the dash vent where my aem is and i won't need to buy another gauge. Can the e boost2 control 20lbs with a 3lbs spring? Can it control 3lbs with out co2?

You will need co2 to be able to get 20 psi with a 3lb spring

Save yourself the headache and buy the small viair set up for 150 bucks includes a 1 gallon tank and you never have to get the bottle filled or run out. Plus you can air up a tire if you plumb it right.

I like that idea but where do you mount the pump and tank in an f body?

You can run either nitrous or CO2, I use CO2 but have a friend with an AMS1000 and he runs nitrous with no issues for years. That little 2.5# bottle lasts forever too.

The small viair set up is about the size of a battery not very big at all.

Draws 12 amps.

I called viair,it draws 12amps. Comes on at 90psi off at 105psi. Seems perfect for a controller especially one used on the street all the time. I ordered the viair and boost leash. Seems like a more serious setup. Randy at boost leash said he is working on being able to save multiple programs and one day doing mph programs. Can't wait especially for the money.

Do you have yours in an f body? Was thinking of putting it all where the spare tire is. Do you have it on a switch? Or hard wired so you just let the viair pressure switch do its thing? Do you use a gauge at all?

No not an F body mine is in my Nova mounted in the trunk, I have mine on a switch but I am using the the pressure switch to control the pump. My switch controls a power relay that supplies power to the air system. My battery is also in the trunk so it was pretty easy for me, it should all fit in your spare well no problem. I have a gauge but it is in the trunk.

We use the viair on several cars and it works great, much better than co2 for a street car. Been using it for years and no issues.

Ya just like that. i ordered right from viair. Seemed to be confusion with the part numbers and streetbeats. I think the number through viair is 10000. Call them they only have one one gallon kit with compressor.
