Default Mishimoto intercoolers?

I know that these are EBAY specials, but apparently they are pretty good. Anyone have any feedback on them? Shooting for >700 hp with 10lbs boost would this be an option worth considering?

If they are anything like their fans I wouldn't waste the money, their fans are terrible.

Ive seen the turbo neon guys run them but they usually are making under 400hp . The Cxracing intercoolers have good reviews and are relativity cheap also

The supra guys I know are making good power and using Ebay intercoolers (not sure if they are CX) or Treadstone which are reasonably priced. Worth a look and the TS's can be found on Ebay for cheap as well:

they are apparently rated at 1250 CFM. I have a buddy that is big in the diesel scene and he said they are getting pretty popular there. I know the flow or a diesel setup vs a LS setup is a big difference, but still.

I have the 31x12x4 one on my GTO. Same exact size an the cxracing ones but with slightly different mounting locations. Quality is much better and it even has a crash warranty

I had one on my 68 Camaro with the procharger, still have the intercooler (has V bands welded to it) if you are interested I will sell it cheap. They work well as stated above and are better quality.

Thanks for the post. We recently upgraded our fans to have a CFM rating of about 1100, which is about 300 CFM more than our previous units.

OP, if you were to go with one of our intercoolers, I would suggest the S line based on your power goals.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
-Pat

That's good news to hear. The previous model, the ones I have, won't keep my temps down at idle.

Pat,
I am looking at a MMINT-USB intercooler. I always plan my cars out for the possibility of future upgrades. Will there be a problem with the intercooler I chose?

You picked up 12 psi just by switching intercoolers? What size intercooler did you start with and switch to?
