Somewhat random runs. The G8 and I ran from a 45 roll. I didn't know what it had other than the cam and bolt ons so I wasn't gonna take any chances especially with the way my clutch has been acting up so I ran the race out.

The 5th gen on the other hand I know very well cause he's a good friend of mine. Car is a built 416 with a IPS TT kit and has 3 boost settings. He was on his middle setting (around 800rwhp) and we decided to do a impromptu 3rd gear punch to compare powerbands and run them to the top of 4th. In all it was a fun day.

You do realize the car is almost 2 tons and the driver is around 360lbs. All that combined with him not break boosting I give it props everytime it runs. I'm at 741rwhp and he would definitely take me down on his high setting and possibly on this one if he brake boost.

that was a pretty damn good race considering 800whp 5th gen vs 741whp c6, I would expect the 5th to get walked a little harder tbh.

800 is a conservative number but either way there is no walking this car harder. One of the few impressive 5th gens and it has the driver mod.

No weight reduction. If anything it has weight added from the turbo kit and 9" rear end. He wants to do wheels/suspension and do some weight reduction that won't compromise safety within reason. He's also doing a weight reduction mod on himself so that's a good thing.

We hang out all the time so we'll try some hits from 2nd and some other experiments. Everytime we run its close like this. Guess its just one of those things that happens. I expect him to pull me on kill though.
