Default Potz Tb ls6 & Fast Capable?

Been thinking about getting a ported tb from Potz. If I get this and decide later on to go with an ls6 or fast intake, will it work on those as well? And does anyone know the hp difference between getting the ported potz over the fast 102 or 92mm?

Your stock ported TB will not work with the FAST. Difference of maybe 10 to 20 hp over LS6 intake, depending on your mods

Well from what I know the FAST TB's are made for the FAST intakes only

How close in hp would a stock ported be to a fast/bbk or other tb

Like I said it depends on your mods. If you are basically stock a FAST would hardly be worth it, but if you have a HCI combo, or power adder, maybe up to 20 hp or so. Ported stock TB is just as good as BBK, and the FAST TB can't be compared because it goes with the FAST intake

So going with a potz tb will save me $300 and still have the same power gain. Which tb do you have on yours?

A ported stock TB might be worth 5-8 hp. I had Shaner do mine

Well I just recently threw a rod in my LS1, but was able to salvage the PRC 5.3 heads. So now I have a totally forged 370 LQ9 with a bigger cam, more compression, and a 100 shot...no clue what she will run, but will find out soon What mods do you have right now?

Cool! I traded a Mustang for my Camaro last year actually. It was a 2004 gt with cams, full bolt ons, and gears, plus a 100 shot. I loved everything about that car, but that damn modular 2 valve was at its limit, and wanted something faster lol

That's funny, mine is also a 04 . Pretty much the same thing here. I still have it but its amazing what little things do for the Chevys when the mustang it felt like I added tons just to squeak out the smallest amounts of hp . Me and wife put them up against each other when I first got it and the mustang took it with me driving but just with the small things I've done already... I know the Camaro is gonna be a beast

Lol yep! Comparing the modular 2 valve to the LS1 is simply no contest lol! There were many thing I liked better about the Mustang, but in the end it simply was not meant to be a huge hp car without major time and money. Even with all the mods I had in that car (plus the 100 shot) it was still a little slower than my Camaro off the bottle lol

Ok.... Just ordered the potz throttle body off eBay. Was charged $71 .... Now what happens? Do they send the new one first , and then I send my core in or vice versa... What is the process?
