Just finished a 05 GTO for a guy, it's an 05 GTO automatic, has a SS3600 converter. 1-3/4 headers and a Borla cat-back.. It has one of my custom ground cams, 238/242 600 lift.. The car made 430rwhp

I was very happy with the results, pretty basic set up.. Only thing I think is a little different besides our cam profiles, is how we set up the valve train..

I'm a couple months late to the party but the gto guys have always loved the flowtech Induction streetsweeper HT. 228, 232, .612, .600, 111lsa, 108icl. Big tq and can get 400whp up top in an ls1 with LTs.

It's great because it gets over 300tq at 2500rpms and over 350tq by about 3000rpms. A little pricey at $550 but it's the best mid range cam through my extensive research. I don't exactly understand how it performs better than all other cams of the same size, but it just does. Maybe it's the proprietary lobes or the valve events?

There are ls6 z06s on here making 430-440whp SAE with only this cam since they have the 243s. It's pretty impressive.
