Default ls7 + manley rotating assembly=??

i have a brand new ls7 block from gm and a forged rotating assembly from manley and just started to notice that people are saying manley rotating assemblies are garbage because they are made in china??? I'm starting to worry a little! i am also having my brodix br7 273 heads shipped out this week also so i wanted to know if i should ditch the manley setup for another even though i would be taking a significant loss? i also hear nightmare stories of manley H beam rods not being able to handle more that 400-500hp! by the way this engine is going into my 67 malibu

Any crank that sells for less than 1400 or rod set for less than 1300 is going to be a chinese forging. The finish work is US usually.
If you want US forgings lube up and talk to Callies.

I've not heard of any Chinese pistons-yet.

I'm going to use Molnar and Wiseco for my Ls7.

Manley makes good stuff dont be fooled. Ford had a deal with them and Manley Hbeams were put in 03 cobras from the factory. If a big company is willing to put their products in thousands of production cars then youll be ok as long as you picked the right parts for your goal. Manley Hbeams are comprable to callies compstar rods.

Most LS crankshafts are manufactured over seas. I have seen product lists from manufacturers overseas with pics of companies crankshafts that they claim are made in the US. Perhaps some crankshafts are final machined in the US, but made in the US I'm just not sure who honestly still offers it....

Just quick note. I've got a Manley 427 rotating assembly in my sleeved and stroked 6.0. Designed to be a solid bottom end. Sleeved by RED. Dowelled main cap and arp studs. Two summers of driving in a 67 Nova and no rods thru the block. Rev limiter set at 6800 and set to shift at the same rpm.
My first motor of this level but it seems to work well.
