Default rod knock?

I just took my car to the track last night and I bumped my rev limiter to 6700 RPM and after my last run I could barely hear what sounded like the knock it has when the motor is cold(piston slap), but this time the sound didn't go away. I drove it home and let it sit for an hour and drove it some more and it still made the sound. My oil preassure seems to be normal though. I'm worried I blew up the motor.

I would be. Most people take these motors to 6400 reliably, but beyond that the ice gets thin.

The ice does not get thin! These motors will take 6800 all day every day. Dont sweat it. Youre listening too hard. These motors make some noises. If you really hurt something you would know it.

Thanks for the replies. It hasn't blown up yet so I'll see how it likes the bottle.
