If you are coming off the brake on spray, get ready to pick up pieces.... My 7.5" was still in one piece when cutting 1.60's at 2900# but, when I took it out there was all kinds of unhappiness, it was for sure on its last leg.

Good luck!!!
My next mod will be welding the axle tubes and adding the LPW cover/bracing. While I know it would be best to go 12 bolt or 9 inch, I don't have $3000 laying around for what I want. I'll spend a few hundred to keep the 10 bolt together for a bit longer.
oh... you may want to ask a mod to move this out of the suspension section and over to the rear/gear section...

There's no saying how long it will hold. Some 10 bolts die by looking at them funny, others actually hold up to almost anything (those are rare). My car has eaten a couple 10 bolts but the current one in there hasn't died despite getting thrashed harder than the others.

Stab it and see what happens!
I did a full suspension upgrade on the car, plus drag bars, Moser axles and LPW axle tube braces. I am going to throw 600rwhp at it and see what happens. I've always said that with the right suspension parts and a good chassis tune it should be fine.
It's either going to break unloading it off the trailer or it's going to carry the front tires for 10ft. One or another we will find out!
