Info for E85 tuning?
I've found a couple things regarding E85 tuning like: How to run your LS1 on E85. I'm no expert by any means, but this information seems to be very basic. That info will get the car to run on E85, now I want to see the benefits.
The thing is I put my car on E85 and switched the Stoich AFR to 9.75 and then began to monitor AFR's (LM-1) and adjust timing while watching for knock snd such. My car dyno'd 30rwhp less than what it does on pump gas. Even after adjusting the PE I feel as if I need more info before moving forward. The car seemed to run well at a 12.5 AFR and 30* of timing. Just doesn't make the power I think it should. I could be taking the wrong approach as well. Insight welcome!
(Car made 433rwhp and seemed to peak at 6000rpm. Graph flat lined and carried to roughly 6800. Since this pull I added a KB BAP and NGK TR6's. Looking for some more info before I put it on the dyno again)

E85 and only 30* of timing??
You do also realize that since the stoich value of e85 is 9.765, you should be in the 8's when in PE on a N/A engine....correct?
The problem is, you're running the car WAY lean in PE.
Also...keep a good eye on injector duty cycle, as you will be requiring 30% more fuel as well....it's likely that you'll run out of injector (and possibly fuel pump) depending on your fuel system.

I have Bosch "Green top" 42lbs INJ (79% Duty Cycle WOT), I do have a single 255lph Walbaro pump. (Now with a KB BAP)
8's sound exactly right now. In the "How to run your LS1 on E85" he states the max power rich/max power lean and I was trying to figure out where I would apply those vavlues. I did average them out and found I'd like to be around a 1.27 in PE on the EQ Ratio. (Have not input this into editor yet, had to many questions)
Where I was messing up was referring to the AFR of gasoline instead of E85 on my LM-1.
I probably will run out of injector, we'll see. I bet that's why my motor only wants 30* as of now, it's running lean as hell. She want's a lot more fuel!

I ran out of pump (Single 255 Walbro- Racetronix kit) I even had a Kenne Bell BAP on it. Could use more injector as well for my setup. So, I was unable to gather much "worthy" data.
