Default finally working on my Malibu

i know G- bodies have been done but i havent wrenched in a while.

i did my 68 camaro and then my 92 mustang gt.

now im starting on my 78 malibu (i think its a 78, dont remember).

picked this ugly beast up a few years ago and it has been neglected (woking on the never ending house remodel, had a kid now im a stay at home dad with a 1 1/2 yr old) but im gonna try and work on it here and there during naps.

got excited reading denmahs thread about his bu.

so i went and got an 8.8 lincoln rear, but...... turned out to have just 3.08 gears and an open diff.

It is a '78, you can tell by the tail lights/trim.
