LS3 vs LS1 Engine Mount Bracket Well, I am putting a LSA engine in place of the LS6 in a C5 vette. It seems that there is a third bolt behind where the A/C bracket goes that is on the LS3 block that wasnt on the LS6. Now the LS6 bracket wont clear this extra protruding bolt hole. I am assuming I can just order a LS3 bracket for that side but I was hoping someone could verify the brackets are the same, other than having additional clearance for the extra hole. Hate to special order a bracket and it not work.

In case anyone else is doing the same thing, the LS3 C6 motor mount bracket will clear the extra bolt hole on the newer blocks. LS1/6 on left LS3, LSA on right.
