While my truck is an 07gmc 5.3 and I am really happy with I'm here to learn more about retrofitting the LS motors into my older cars. I have a 51 chevy pu I want to clip with a metric frame. I had bought a 92 caprice for the drivetrain now I'm thinking if I'm going to do this it will be a LS 4.8-6.0motor.(really makes the throttle body motors look doggy) I have a lot of first time questions. I see a lot of stuff for LS1 say with wiring harnesses but not for the 5.3 or 6.0 I also hear you can not convert the electronic throttle to cable because the ecm won't accept it. I am hear to learn and receptive to the ups and downs of your experiences. thank you David
