Default Stock Pushrod Length for Milled Heads?

Well I'm getting my stage I (2.02/1.57) heads back from West Coast Cylinder heads and am about to begin putting the heads on the shortblock. I still need to buy pushrods for the car and I was wondering if stock 7.400 length will be ok. The heads are 241 casting 5.7 heads milled .030. Stock deck on the shortblock. Someone told me I will need shorter pushrods because of the milling, also if it matters I'm running an 02 LS6 cam with 918 springs. TIA ~Tony

From what I understand there is about .050 'grace' area . . . so I THINK you would be OK. Is the base circle on the LS6 cam the same as stock? That could definitely affect it also. Do not take my word on this only though, make sure you get other opinions, I'm only spewing out what I understand

I read on here that an LS6 cam has a .050 smaller base circle than the LS1 cam. Can anyone verify this?
