Default CC 918's or Rev 1116 duals on new heads

I have a set of Absolute speed stage 2 heads ready to go in. they have 918's with Ti retainers on them. I just picked up a set of Rev 1116's
Is it worth it to swap to the Rev's or should I stay with the 918's
The cam going in is 224/224/115 with .550 lift

For the 224 w/ .550 lift, 918's would do very well.
If they are the blue stripes all is fine. 918's have proven pretty solid after the original bad batch of a few years ago.

It's only the late spring/summer of '02 918s that had issues, not the originals. The '01 918s are doing just fine for me and many others after a few years and lots of miles.

How can you be sure that the 918's you by are not from the bad batch? Especially when getting them from here in Aus when they may have been imported awhile ago.

I personally would stay away from the REVs as well.

The Comp 918 will work fine in that application. The new Crane dual spring is another good alternative as well.
