Default 1999 c5 FRC m6 Corvette 24k miles

1999 FRC torch red m6 corvette with an M6. The car is in perfect condition and is torch red. The car still even smells new. Black leather with 0 signs of any wear. Completely stock. What's it worth?

I personally would pay a small premium for a near mint, very low mileage Corvette of this stature. If everything checked out properly, a price around $23,500 - $24,000 would be appropriate, either buying or selling. It wouldn't be worth more than that. Anything under is a very reasonable price, especially if in the $22,000 - $23,000 range. If issues, then no, that price is too high.

A 99 FRC is 19-20 near mint. Low mileage 15-17k good running an high mileage 12-14

I realize they are asking prices but a large majority of Autotrader owners are gong to have be talked down $5,000 or so to get near $19k. That would be extremely tough to do for a near mint 24k miles car, and quite a steal.

id say $20-21k max. here is a 03 Z06 with 30k with a buy it now of $25k...and no one has "bought it now" lol.

I am looking for it now but there was 99 FRC with 40k on craigslist on a local lot for $16,900.

Chevrolet : Corvette FRC in Chevrolet | eBay Motors
Read the OP's first post and tell me how this car compares to what he is asking about. I don't need to explain about mileage and mods, etc... Apples and oranges. My pricing advice stands. We're also not interested in a 2003 Z06. What has that got to do with the OP??
Please use examples that would be beneficial for the OP and any discussion.

I'm just assuming you're the buyer, i wouldn't pay more than 20k for it. Anything above 20 and you could get a Z06 2-5 years newer. For 24-25 you could probably find a Z06 with equally as low of miles.

lets be a little realistic. I posted a 03 Z06 (also a hardtop as we all know) as a price comparison. You told him his car would bring more than a car with similar miles that 99.999999999999999% would die to have over a 99 FRC. Actually, i dont think i can find anyone that would want a 99 FRC with 25k miles over a CHEAPER 03 Z06 with 29k miles.

And...i posted the other FRC for a moderate comparison..sure it has some aftermarket wheels and exhaust but is relatively close in mileage at 40k....and its asking price...which is yet to have been paid, is roughly 10k less than what you said his would be worth. Really? you would pay 10k more for a car with 15k less miles and no mods? given both where on great shape?

Like i have said before I have family in the auto business and can easily see auction prices....which as we all know MOST consumers cant see or dont realistically know what goes through the auction and for what prices....so just for generalities, and cause i like to talk, ill tell you want they went through for...keep in mind this is for a 99 FRC..

Car 1 with 4,100 miles sold at dealer auction for $18,900
Car 2 with 7,406 miles sold at dealer auction for $19,500
Car 3 with 14,273 miles sold at auction for $16,100
Car 4 with 80k miles sold at auction for $9,100

There were...oddly enough almost 40 listings for FRC 99 Vettes on Manheim. There were even a few Nassau Blue cars. 1 had 101k miles for $9,600 and the other 135k for $8,500.

All have clean titles. Obivously i cant see condition but how many POS cars have you seen with less than 10k miles? AGAIN because apparantly a car with aftermarket wheels and exhaust and 40k miles is apples to oranges to a car thats stock with 25k miles...these are generalities.... and should help the OP base his decision.

Auction prices don't help the OP one iota. Put yourself in his shoes. What can he honestly pay for the exact car he is talking about. Not auction prices, not family numbers.
No mods, stock, smells 'like new'. No comparisons. No Z06 models. Just what he is talking about. Thank you!!
