Default Newbie from Texas

hi all, I thought I would stop in here and introduce myself. My name is Phil Green from Hutto, TX. I am a car enthusiast and am working on my first LS project. I plan to install an all aluminum (2008) 5.3 into a 1981 Mazda RX7. Hopefully it goes well but I am excited to see the results as I move forward on the project.

I just move from Austin to California. I know a couple solid transmission and engine guys there who are great if you ever need help. The Austin area has a great LS scene and I miss it already. California sucks the money out of your paycheck to pay for the sunshine, so I repay it by leaving burn-out streaks on the roads.

Here is my son and I trying to test fit the motor in my 81 rx7. Two issues arose. the front crank pulley from a truck and oil pan. So the motor did not make it in that day. I believe it will soon make it in there.
