Would you have more info on the setup? I remembee you started a thread about a build but dont remember what was the setup.

The LSA seems pretty big.

This is on a F-Body correct? What are your HP goals?

It doesnt seem to big other than the LSA. Then again im no expert. A LS6 or LS9 will be a great choice as well if your in a budget.

Best thing to do is call someone to spec a cam for your exact setup. I suggest Martin@Tick. He seems to know what he is talking about when it comes to cams and has nothing but great reviews. I just received my cam from him last week. Good luck bud!

As mentioned above by suttererman. It will work but it is kind of big for that 5.3. Just my opinion. How tight is your budget for a custom grind? You probably wont even need a custom grind honestly. Martin at Tick should have something for you on stock.

Exhaust lobe is way too big for a 5.3. Intake duration is borderline too big depending on application and usage.

Personally I would never go past 220@.050 in a 5.3 for under a 1100 hp turbo build.

230/230 115lsa cam in a 5.3 went 8's@150+ on 16psi with a S476R. It's all about the combination of parts. I don't like blanket statements for camshaft as they tend to not be fully accurate.

When he turns it up to 20+ I fully expect it to be well into the 8.50 zone.
