Default Gt500 vs CRX

Well ran my friends crx today it made 432 on the dyno last night and weights 1880lbs without driver.

88 CRX Built b16(84mm/sleeved), GT30R turbo, 27lbs

First we did a 50. I jump out hard and let off around 100 as he wasn't going to come back.

So I decided to make it fair for him because of his traction issues and we did a 60. He started pulling in 4th he let off around 135 about 1.5 cars out on me

Just an observation but you can see how impressive the GT500s are with bolt-ons. It takes that kind of combination of power (built motor/good size turbo) and weight (18XXlbs) to pull a car. Pretty cool, man.

That car should be pretty crazy given the power/weight, but the FWD just ruins it =(

I would say the contrary. GT500's are the most overrated cars on the planet. Lots of power, but so heavy they usually don't perform what people would expect.

AKa these bolt on 700whp+ 13' GT500's just keeping up with bolt on Z06's 200whp down. I mean, awesome power, but what is it when you have to move a vehicle that weighs as much as a small truck.

.
On the double contrary... being able to take down a bolt on z06 with a 4000lb+ race weight is still not an easy thing to accomplish. The problem is everyone down plays how fast a bolt on c6 z06 is. Its a fast car. And IMO anyone trapping less then 140mph with a H/C z06 is making some serious mistakes. Hell look at some of the full bolt on cars trapping mid 130s... Nothing should be taken lightly about a bolt on z06.

Yea it is pretty nasty I will post vids later. With him and a passanger it was about a 2250 raceweight. That other vid where he ran away from that 240 and 5.0 he was only making 323.

Serious question how do you think you would do against a 1880lb crx making that power?

Maybe but we will never know. He does have a 600+lb weight advantage on you. So any idea what a car like that would trap?
