Default Water pump pn#

looks like I gotta replace my squeling water pump finally. Could I please get some imput on the part numbers please. More specificalythe pump that some of you have used that weren't for the V and worked. Not really looking forward to a 200+ for a water pump if a corvette's or similar fits. Also roughly how much coolant should I get for the system. Thanks in advance

This is the pump I order 89018052.
I think.

I hear the C5 Z06 corvette's pump fits too. That pump goes for around $100. AC Delco 252-846.

Pick up the LS3 water pump. Interchangeable with ours and has less rotating mass if your car has one of the older style pumps. You can usually find brand new ones pulled off GM crate motors for less than $100.

Isn't the only difference the pulley thickness and the clearance to the fans ?

Thing to note about the LS3 water pump, from what I've seen it seems there are some with the outlet on the drivers side of the car and some with it on the passengers side. My dad picked up a new take off and the outlet is in the drivers side so to make it work he will need to come up with different upper radiator hose.

Well i was gonna do A little more checking to make sure it is the water pump but i think i got my answer. As i pulled into my driveway i smell coolant. Park and go to see what it is. Coolant all over the engine bay. And a nice little puddle under the car. Yay. Also any chance the coolant could mess somthin in my engine bay up other than the smell

I don't have a part number. I'll eventually need to figure it out for my engine build.
