Default ls swap in a 2005 sts

Hey guys a buddy of mine and I where speaking about engine swap options for his 2005 sts with the northstar we are currently looking into doing a 5.3 truck motor with a single 76mm is there any one out there that has done a ls motor swap into one of these chassis's?

Wiki shows that the CTS is on the same platform. I'd imagine the swap shouldn't be terribly difficult if you can source CTS-V mounts and manifolds.

I think the north* uses the smaller metric bell housing so the truck engine won't just bolt up to it. I would find engine/trans combo and as stated above find CTS-v mounts etc. is the 4.6 shot or just wanting more power? How about STS-v it has the 4.4 supercharged north* I think 470 something HP

Doh......my brain saw CTS for some reason.

RWD, shouldn't be hard at all. Mounts, headers, like someone said.
