Question Need help/opinions on where to mount my JL e6450 6 channel amp.

Hi, I bit the bullet and bought some speakers for my Trans Am cause they were all blown. I have the Alpine Type S 6 3/4 components going in the front doors, Alpine Type S 6 3/4 coaxial in the rear seat sail panels, and Alpine Type S 4 inch coaxials in the rear hatch panel. I am going to use the JL audio e6450 6 channel amplifier (45W RMS x 6 @ 4 ohms) My biggest problem is where to mount it. I want to keep it hidden so it can't be in the hatch area visible to the eye. It kind of a large amp though so I was just curious to see where you guys mounted your amps at. Here are the size specs...

17.7" x 9.25" x2.36" (Length x Width x Height)

Thanks in advance for any and all replies to this thread. Thanks again,
Paul Moore

BandDirector has some pics of mounting it in and behind the spare tire. That is where I"m mounting mine.

You can mount it on the back wall of the storage compartment for the t-tops.
