Default Firebird parts compatibility

My 2000 Formula needs a fender and both bumper covers.
Bought it for $1,800 with a clear title so it's worth fixing. Strong LS1 and 6 speed.
Will 1998-2002 T/A panels bolt on same/same?

The fenders should all be the same, the front and rear bumper covers are the same with the v-6 models. The T/A front and rear bumper cover should bolt up the same, but I'm not 100% sure though since they're styled differently.

Fenders and rear bumper should be the same but front bumper I think you need the foam support and different fog housing since placed different. I'm thinking don't quote me hope this helps. Or just search for when people have done pervious swaps

The fenders are the exact same. The Trans Am has a different front/rear bumper and side skirts, but they bolt up in the same locations.

Not really. About 1/4 of the LS1 Formulas produced where hardtops.

1998-2002 Formulas - 6,960
1998-2002 Formula Hardtops - 1,631

Interesting fact, no hardtop Formulas were made in 2002.

1993-2002 Firebirds/Formulas/Trans Ams are the same frame underneath.

1993-2002 The hatches, rear bumpers, tail lights, and doors are all interchangeable. If you really want to see the different options I or someone else can take the time to post what is available.

The front end is where it gets different. 1993-1997 Firebird/Formula/Trans Am bodywork all bolts up the same (once again different options on the style of the front bumper/hood/etc but it all still can interchange).

If you want to go to the 1998-2002 style for Firebird/Formula/Trans Am you have to have all parts of this year range. Basically you can't have a 1993-1997 hood on a 1998-2002 year range.

So in your case with being a 2000 you can put on any 1998-2002 front end parts. Your fenders are the same as the Trans Am. You can change hoods if you want. The front bumper does have a different foam support underneath mainly because of the Trans Am fog lights opening/etc. Head lights/etc. are the same.
