I have a racetronix hotwire setup going back to my fuel pump from my alternator and i just lost the alternator on my car...is there a way to bypass the alternator to get power to the fuel pump as i have the alternator taken off now to get rebuilt. But the shop needs to move the car around on just the battery power.

Just clamp the original wire from the alternator to the hot wire with a small bolt & tape it off so it does not short out.
