Default Siphon issue with lower pressure, on Ybody

I am so used to running a standalone, I don't have these problems anymore. but, I know a guy right now that is.

Vette, C5,...they dropped there base pressure from the mid 50psi range(factory55-58psi) and set it to 45psi.

Since then, I am told, the vehicle will get to have a tank indicated, and not siphon from the other saddle tank, therefore running out of fuel.

Has anyone ran into this on a vette before, dealing with the internal pump/siphon?

Is the 45base too low?

Yes, you must keep the pressure above 50, I try to never go below 52.
