Default question about 17X10.5 wheels (tirerack)

they are hurst dazzlers 17X10.5 exclusively through tirerack.com

I went to hurst wheels to find out their specs since tirerack doesn't have them available.

they are 17X10.5 5-120.65/5x4.75 45mm off set and 7.5" backspace hub bore 70.7mm

tirerack says these wheels will not fit a 98 camaro

the specs for American Racing Torque thrust Ms is as follows

17X10.5 5-120.65/5X4.75 44mm offset and 7.52" backspace

yet those will fit a 98 camaro....

What gives tirerack?

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah I've been searching for wheels also and it seems like on every site that you input any F-body it narrows it down to like 3 types of wheels and if you search more you can find a couple more that will fit, annoying as ****.

Yeah stop searching by f-body specifics. I learned a long time ago that does not help at all. I used to enter in BMW M3 e46 to get the appropriate width/offsets I wanted.

Those wheels will fit just fine, I think tirerack errors on the side of extra clearance for liability/insurance reasons.

I decided against even bothering with them to get these wheels and decided to go with 18X10.5 C6 Z06 deep dish black with polished lip wrapped in 295/35/18 for my spring/summer/fall set up. I'll keep my stock 16s and wrap them in 225/55/16 Continental winter something or others for winter.

What year on the BMW? Also does it show widths of 10 1/2" or even 11"? Seems like all they go to is 9" wide on BMW's

We keep are online fitments to the conservative side for liability reasons. However we will sell you any wheel/offset you like. Please give me a call direct if I can help with a wheel or fitment. I would love to have your business.
