Ok first off I want to say I am new to FI so I might ask dumb questions. I have a chance to buy a new still in box sts rear mount turbo for a 4th gen Fbody for $500. I believe that is a good price correct me if I'm wrong also I have LT headers. I know as far as FI goes headers arnt ideal bc they dissipate heat and the velocity of exhaust is slowed down right?.. You want the hottest fastest moving air to spool the turbo correct? However ...and yes iv tried searching but can't find a specific answer.. What if you have 4.10 gears and a larger cam? The 4.10s will help you get into the power band of the cam and push out more exhaust at fast speed correct?... I read on here that 4.10s are to high for a turbo setup and 3.90s are plenty but if someone has long tubes wouldn't having the 4.10s help?
