Default fusible link ???

My hot wire from my alternator stood came loose and shut my car down in the room yesterday.. try to start it I got nothin no power to anything hieadlights still work but no power to fuel pump or nothing??? how do I check the fusible link if its the problem how do I fix ???

A blown fusible link is just like cutting the wire. Use a test light. Turn the key on, start at the battery and just keep working your way down the line checking each connection until you find where the voltage stops.

Check your fuses first. Some of those might have tripped when the wire came off the stood.

Once you find it replacing a fusible link is easy. Just cut it out and splice in a new one. Or better yet, replace it with an in line fuse.

Fusible link is down by the starter right??? gauge wire should I get ?

Replace I replace one of the fusible links... fruit everything backup want to put my cables on the battery and it started sparking bad then something popped down by the starter and it stop sparking with no power agaib

Sounds like the fusible link is doing it's job.

Figure out what is shorted out and fix it.

the wire on the stud on the back of the alternator came off ...and touch the alternator that what shorted it out from the start..
