Default Turbo 5.3 swapped 68 C10

Year: 1968
Make: Chevrolet
Model: C/K 10
Price: $5000
Mileage: 50
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): FL
Color: Blue
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Need to sell. Need money to pay off some bills. Not looking for trades at this point.
What I have is a 1968 C10 shortbed stepside. It has rust, dents, scratches, different colors, etc. It was built to look this way. underneath the frame has been sandblasted, and fully painted. All new suspension, brakes, fuel system etc. 12 gallon RCI cell with Aeromotive 340 pump inside. 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears and an Eaton posi. The transmission is a Th400 and has a large external cooler. Now the good stuff; the engine is a '99 5.3 LS-based motor that has had the heads rebuilt and added Comp valvesprings, MLS headgaskets, and headstuds. It has 72#/hr fuel injectors, 3 bar MAP sensor, Gt45 68/78mm turbo with 1.00 a/r hotside. 38mm external wastegate, with custom down pipe and dump tube for the wastegate. Both exit behind the passenger front wheel. Air to water intercooler mounted through the firewall where heater core originally mounted with a large aluminum reservoir in the bed and submersible 1000gph pump. AEM Uego wideband, Harlan shiftlight, boost gauge, black "leather" racing seats inside, and the inside of the truck has been painted gloss black. New Upper dash pad and window regulators. Lexan back window, windshield has new seal, windshield itself is original, and has a small edge-to-edge crack on one corner and is delaminating in some places. Again, re-used for the look. Truck weighs around 3100 lbs how it sits. it is much lighter than you would expect, and the stock suspension works well for traction. I prefer e-mail, or text since I work nights, so I can get back to you when I can. Please be reasonable with offers, I feel it is being offered at a fair price for what it is and the work into it. There is $3000 just in new parts on it. Don't come look at it and try to tell me the body is rougher than you expected as I have had happen before. I have clearly stated, it is an old truck, with rust and dents. It is not a show truck. If that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. I built this to drive, have fun with and race. But have More pressing matter to deal with right now

To answer the question I have been getting the most, YES! it has a clear FL title in my name. I had it registered until a couple of months ago. Could no longer justify the cost of 2 vehicles being tagged

no dyno numbers or track times. I finished it just in time for rainy season and have only put about 50 street miles on it so far. now I have moved and have nowhere to keep it so it just sits being stored. this setup should be good for around 600whp on pump gas. throw some water-meth on it and could be pushing 700. it is a blast to drive, old truck looks, modern drivability and ungodly power

thanks, I think so lol. can't really build this truck for this price.

I have had alot of offers and questions, $5000 is my bottom dollar. not negotiable below that. Unless you want it without the wheels then we can work something

How bad is the rust. I see it on the bed but are the floor boards, rockers and cab corners solid. I dig the truck but I would definitly clean it up a little and if its a totall rust bucket I wouldn't be interested.

rust is just cosmetics. Floor, inner and outer driver's side rocker were patched. Upper cab is solid. I left the cab corners and such for the effect of the look. Like I said, I built it to look this way. I could have fixed it all and been a "total restoration" but that wasn't what I wanted
