This is not so much a question asking how to run them so they work properly, since my setup is already done and functioning fine. I more want to see some reliable ways that the turbo guys are plumbing their vacuum lines and the cleanliness of the install.

I recently had my wastegate line blow off during a pull which caused it to overboost, and it cracked piston 7 and bent the rod. Threw in some spares I had laying around and it's up and running good again, but I would like to set the vacuum lines up so this doesn't happen in the future.

Biggest problem area I have is that the ports for all my turbo accesories, like the BOV and wastegate, use 1/4" line. However all the ports on the stock LS6 manifold are around 3/8" to 1/2" or so. So basically I have a section of 1/2 or 3/8 line off the manifold into adapters to go down in line size for every vacuum line, and it's cluttery and just too much BS going on for a possible issue down the road.

So like I said, any pics and tips would be much appreciated!

I use push to connect fittings with 1/4 od nylon tubing. The fittings are installed with npt threads, and if its not available ill drill and tap. Theres no way the tubing is blowing out.

I've seen those before, and really was considering it. Used to use those all the time on my paintball guns back when I played lol. They'll hold 200 PSI all day long for years.

Got any kind of link or hookup on where to buy them? Thanks for the info as well man!

Thank you very much gentleman! I actually remembered I possibly had a few fittings left over from my paintball days. After rummaging through my closet, sure enough I found a few 1/8 npt push lock hose fittings with 1/4 hose ends. SCORE! Love free fixes lol. Just need to get the line itself and I should be in business. Apparently 1/8 NPT will thread right into my TIAL wastegate ports which are actually 10mm, but it's so close that they work fine.

Push lock for the most important fittings like fuel pressure regulator, boost regulator, MAP sensor, etc etc. Standard rubber with zip-ties for the rest.

For the zipties make sure to use the little ones, they will grab tighter.

buy the quick connect fittings on ebay. they are stupid cheap, like $5 for 5 fittings.

Zip ties here. They are cheap and work great. Don't waste your money on expensive fittings that aren't going to make a difference.

I have 40 of those just got an order yesterday have a few 90s and straights grab come on by and take a few. 1/8npt is correct in the tial i have my gates and two bov's with these. Also have a bunch of line as i get it from RPS

They cost me 4.70 shipped for 10. I wouldnt call that expensive

I'm using one of those. Works great and even came with a mad tyght jdm keychain pendant.
Same here, haven't had an issue in 2 years. Really tight rubber hose holding them on with small zipties.

Zipties and rubber hose on my old galant. 38 psi and never blew a line off.
