Question Anyone know where to get

Chrome hood shocks for our fbodies? I know there's got to be a way to get them other than tearing apart the shock and having it done Shoot me a PM if you know someone or maybe someone can point me in the right direction

What are you talking about tearing the shock apart? You just take it off of the hood and have a plater plate it. I had mine done, only reason they failed is because i put them in upside down and i guess eventually the stress on the opposite side of them made them fail.

Just have some stock ones chromed.. my shop did mine that way.. you dont even have to take them apart since they are sealed to keep the gas in they also keep the chemicals out. See my site for pics of them chormed..

They said they do it all the time with hood struts and harley shocks

Sounds good, i thought they would have to take them apart to do that. I've seen your pics and that's what gave me the idea
