Default Quietest Muffler for Headers,ORY, small cam

As title states, looking to quiet down my current set up. Headers, ORY, small cam, Hooker Aerochamber. I have an electric cut out for the track. The rasp between 2000 and 2500 is driving me crazy during DD. How about just a stock muffler? Thanks.

SLP Dual Dual is the best flowing crossflow/noise option out there.

Have you considered a good merge pipe to cut down the rasp? It made a HUGE difference for me

Get a Magnaflow #14589, 3" in/out muffler with a 22" case length, the reason for a single outlet is the you have more internal case area with sound absorbing material to quiet down the exhaust. This muffler it the longest that will fit, or a Magnaflow#12578(22" case length).
The only differences between these mufflers is the outlet location and the 14589 is a polished case and the 12578 has a natural case finish, which is less expensive.

A Hooker CB will quiet it down quite a bit as well.

Open cutout then I close it for reference

Heres when I had a MS3 cam, the muffler couldn't tame it as much as the F13 but still did a good job

FYI Kingc8r, he currently has a Hooker Aerochamber muffler on his car, so that still won't solve his problem.

Totally didn't see that part lol! Add a merge it removed all my rasp....a dual/dual wont make it any quieter. My friends MS4 car with dual/dual was just as loud.

I added a Flowmaster 3in to 4in merge then a 4in cutout pipe necked back down to 3in and my rasp went away. That would be the route I would take.

I bought a SLP Loudmouth 3 inch in/out round and put it in the I pipe. Worked very well for this.

Added the merge (no room for a bullet with cut out). Helped tremendously. Thanks guys.
