Default oe wheels nothing in stock?

I have been wanting to order some dd c5 wheels for awhile now and it seems like they will be out of stock for months. I decided to get a different set and those are out of stock also, what's the deal. Almost every set is out of stock? Anyone know where else I can order from?

I don't know what's up with them... I emailed them some questions about my wife's Lexus and they just blew me off.

I've dealt with them before and they have always been professional, I don't know what their deal is.

They said in another thread that they were having issues getting good stock from China in a timely manner, and they are still trying to work through the manufacturers mistakes. This has been going on since spring time. Who knows when they will be back to normal.

They were excellent like 4 years ago when I got my wheels, stopped by their warehouse to pick up my wheels and that place had boxes to the sky and 2 18 wheelers loading up wheels. Never seen so many wheels in my life.

I was gonna order wheels from them as well but like this everything else was out of stock that I would consider. So now I'm saving up for Forgestar CF5s.

Tony@ Deviate motoring Conroe, TX is excellent to deal with.

Maybe the reason no one responded is we are all quite aware that OE hasn't had stock all year and that is nothing new to any of us... I'm still running nearly worn out tires because of it myself, good thing that I have a daily driver. Whatev... There are only a couple wheel types that I've seen so far that I like for my car, and the next one that I really like (and like more than OE has) is a CCW and that is far, far beyond both my budget level AND the level of care they would require (I have no garage for one thing, and I want a wheel that if I get caught in some rain I don't have to spend the next couple hours cleaning and repolishing the raw aluminum).

It's not the fact that they haven't had wheels in stock. I understand that things happen that are sometimes out of our control. It's the point of how they handled the situation and kept feeding me bullshit when it's clear that they had no clue when they were going to have them.

Also, unlike everyone else I ordered these wheels under the the the assumption that they were in stock and ready for shipment according to their own website.

I would like to appologize to everyone that is upset at our current situation regarding corvette style wheels. We have had issues since spring like mentioned earlier on getting them in stock. It has not been our intent to mislead anyone on when stock would be arriving back to us. We were simply passing along what we were informed from the manufacturer's. I personally understand that this has been frustrating. I can report that we have since corrected the issues with the manufacturer and the vette wheels have started to show up. They will not get here all at once. Our biggest deliveries are coming back in stock the first week of october. we will be getting c4 zr1's and c5 dd's. a week or so after that we will be getting more c6z06 stock back in.

We really do appreciate everyones business and patience during this difficult time.
If you have any questions about stock and when something may be back in stock please call me direct

Any chance on an LS1Tech group buy for the wheels when they do come in stock? Seems like there are a lot of us that are looking to make a purchase.

I've been talking to Tobi the past two weeks, almost sending him questions every day, sometimes multiple questions each day.

The guy replies usually within minutes of my emails being sent to him.........

I've dealt with China before when buying bulk products from them that get shipped here in containers on ships like OE does.......sometimes they can screw things up pretty bad over there. I'm pretty certain OE is dying to send out product to customers.

Thanks for the heads up about the $25.00 discount for tech members.....I didn't know about that.
