A friend has a bolt on and tuned GT-R, we raced against my heads/cam Z making 565 rwhp (no nitrous) from 45 rolls. When he was on pump gas I'd get him by about 1/2 to 1 car by 130 mph. He retuned it, upped the boost a little, and is running E-85. Now he gets me by about 1/2 a car. Good races.

Good runs. That sounds about right for a full bolt on E85 car and a heads cam Z06.

His car runs really good. I was a passenger when we got several runs with a 458 Italia Ferrari. That Ferrari sounds SO GOOD at 9,000 rpm, but in truth, it was no contest. We'd give him the go and then catch him and pull away.

This will probably sound funny but I'm glad he got the win. We've been racing each other since 2007 and whatever car he offers up I have beaten in my Old Faithful Z06. He had a V12 twin turbo AMG, I showed it taillights. He bought a GT500 KR, brought it up to 720 rwhp, still saw my taillights. He bought a new Boss 302, added a 2.3 supercharger and 100 shot of N2O. Same story. So, good for him.

Here's one against another friend's GTR, I'm spraying 100 shot, he is running a Switzer P800. This run is at MY sweet spot speed, 65 roll all the way to 170+:



When we went from lower speeds it was TOO close to call. Now he annihilates me because he sent his car back to Switzer and has the Ultimate Street Edition, makes 940 whp.
