YT rockers + 918 springs + ls6 cam
First off, I know this isn't the best way to make power, but it's the way I want to do it (stock idle, sleeper effect).
I already have the ls6 cam and springs installed. The addition of the 1.8 rockers would create too much lift for the ls6 springs. That's why I would be upgrading to the 918s.
1. From what I've read in past threads and searches, this combo would work right?
2. Should I upgrade the retainers as well?
3. Stock length pushrods would still be used correct?
Thanks guys!

I would think the increase in ratio would work provided the different springs. Maybe someone who done this will chime in. Stock lenght pushrods but definately a better one for sure.

I seriously doubt the 1.85 rockers will be worth crap for power. The added lift wont do too much for stock heads IMO. As for Ti retainers...not worth it with that cam...918s use such small retainers that Ti ones dont offer much in weight reduction. I've been running stock retainers for 55k miles with no problems...but if you have the $$, then why not.
