Default Drive line Vibration.

1969 Chevelle, got into the gas and the rear end started to wheel hop real bad got out of the gas and when it stopped got back into it and heard a loud pop. Got back to the shop and found it broke the rear U-joint and damaged the Aluminum drive shaft. Rather than having that one rebuilt I had a brand new one made. Now that it is back in I have a bad vibration that comes in at 40mph and gets so bad at 70 mph the dash rattles. Any idea's??

Sounds like they did not balance the shaft right. Does it have weights on it where they balanced it? I just had one shortened and re-balanced, runs smooth.
