Default Got the headers on!

Just decided to get a y-pipe made at the local hole in the wall shop. Not bad for $75. 2.5" Into my 3" exaust with cutout open sounds mean!!

Let me know what you think

For not much more you could have purchased a stainless 3" y-pipe with a nice merge, but hey, at least you're happy

needs a 3" y pipe that's not kinked, you are costing yourself a good bit of power with that, every one of those bends likely measure 2.25"

I wouldn't run an exhaust that small on my stock 5.3 truck

go easy on him guys looks like he put a lot of work into it. although i do agree with everyone. a stainless one would have only cost another 60 bucks or so and had a nicer merge. I do think the op is leaving power and sound on the table with that merge and bends

The merge and bends are restricting the flow compared to good y pipe but it is better than stock I guess.

Seen worse Y pipes, you won't notice the .01 horsepower lose from the merge, go true duals eventually and take care of it
